Legionella Control |
CREATION
OF SITE-SPECIFIC SCHEMES OF PRECAUTION |
Once a Legionella risk assessment is conducted and
necessary remedial works have been implemented, a plan
of maintenance should commence. It is advised that
written accounts detailing the safe and correct
operation of the system be created and issued to all
concerned parties. |
Such records should include:
Documented details of the safe and correct
operation of the plant |
Documentation of start-up and shut down
procedures for all concerned plant and equipment |
Documentation of parameters for the operation of
the plant, equipment and services |
Documentary detail of the extent
of monitoring and maintenance activities
required for achievement and maintenance of ACOP
and Guidance, L8 compliance |
Documentary details of emergency
procedures required in the event of failure of
such plant, services or equipment |
